Configuring Win 7 to process PHP scripts embedded in .html pages?

Because a hard-coded commercial program on my Win 7 IIS server uses a page with an .html extension (which I cannot change), I need to configure Windows 7 IIS to process my PHP script embedded within it.  How do I do that? (Both IIS and PHP are otherwise working perfectly).

I've spent a couple hours digging around in the Win 7 IIS configuration console trying to discover how it recognizes a ".php" extension, so that I can also tell it to do the same thing with ".html", but to no avail.  I've found several explanations for doing this with Apache on Windows and with previous versions of Windows IIS, but apparently the Win 7 IIS console is so different from previous versions that such explanations simply can't work.  A step-by-step will be appreciated.
