I have an application coded in VB using WebMatrix. On my laptop it runs out of WebMatrix and also directly from a desktop icon. I have installed it onto desktop PC and it runs using WebMatrix but when run from the desktop icon it crashes because a session variable has a null value. Code is: Session("vname") = "Invalid". Replacing the code with Dummy = "Invalid" moves the compiler error to the next session variable. I have checked the configuration on both computers and the session module is included on both. Both are using the default SessionState of InProc.
Anyone got any idea on what is going wrong?
