Are Group Manage Service Accounts supported with Shared IIS Config? I have seen the 1 other posthttps://forums.iis.net/p/1206855/2066996.aspx, however I am not experiencing this.
We have separate "Windows Server 2012 R2":
"Web Servers" x2
"SQL Servers" x2
"Domain Controllers" x2
Which are all set-up to use Group Managed Service Accounts (gMSA). The Web Servers use a Shared IIS Configuration.
This is working when started, however when we reboot the web server not all the application pools start backup, but some do. They are all set to run with individual group Managed Service Accounts but if I do an "IISReset" then they all start backup with no problem.
At the time the server reboots I see Audit Logon Failures in Event Viewer, but as I said they start backup if I manually start them so there is nothing wrong with the account names and the passwords we don't set, because they are gMSAs.
