Hi,
I have gone thru the documentation and we would like to go for the Shared Configuration as we have a Web Farm with multiple load balanced Web Servers.
1. Once we move to the Shared Configuration, if the Shared Folder (we are planning for a DFS but just in case) goes down for any reason what is the default fallback? Does IIS refer to the local Config file if one exists?
2. The description of the CPU Limit setting is unclear when I have multiple Application Pools: Is this setting scoped at the level of an Application Pool? If I specify a value of - for example 75% CPU for each Application Pool - then what does the 75% signify - is it a cap on just this Application Pool from individually exceeding 75% or does it take into consideration other Application Pools and ensure the total CPU of the server does not exceed 75%?
