I have a site on IIS 7 with an application done with iisproxy.dll (don't remember where I found it) which simply rewrites url from outside to inside. Everything works fine EXCEPT for the timeout part. On very long queries, while in the intranet everything is ok, from the outside I receive a "could not contact back-end site" error after precisely 100 seconds (always this way). On the web.config of the application the timeout is 600 seconds, in the configuration ui in IIS everything is set to 10 miutes (the site, the application, the application pool, etc etc). Where these 100 seconds come from???? Another strange thing: if I reduce to 30 seconds the timeout in web.config, it waits 100 seconds to tell me that a timeout error is occurred. Don't know what to think!!!
